Financial Assistance at GCS

We know that Christian education for your children is an investment into your child’s future that requires big commitment and sacrifice. We are committed to providing capable students access to Gateway Christian School, regardless of financial means, so that families with the desire to send their children through Gateway’s rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum with a Biblical worldview have the opportunity.


If you think you might be in need of financial assistance, here are a few options to consider:


The McCutchen Foundation:


The McCutchen Foundation was established to enable students to obtain an elementary or secondary Christian education. Applications for this scholarship are available in July from the school office and are due at the beginning of August.


The opportunity is available to students entering 1st - 12th grade. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need.


Qualifications:

  • Open to students entering 1st - 12th grade.

  • Demonstrate financial need (tax documents required)

  • Attend a local church (with letter of recommendation from pastor)

  • Prove your child maintains a 2.5 GPA (School Transcripts)

  • Include parental testimony of faith and why you'd like your child to attend Christian school (1st - 5th graders)

  • Include student testimony of faith and why you'd like to attend Christian school (6th- 12th graders)

How to Apply:


If you meet the qualifications application forms will be available for pick up in the business office at the school (in the elementary building).


Conner Christian Scholarship Foundation:


The Conner Christian Scholarship Foundation was established to enable students to obtain an elementary or secondary Christian education. Applications for this scholarship are available in July from the school office and are due at the beginning of August.

Financial Aid:


We offer need-based financial aid and flexible payment plans to make the investment in our school manageable. The need for financial aid is assessed by Gateway School using BeneFAQ Services and is awarded on a yearly basis. Families must reapply for aid, using BeneFAQ each year.


Qualifications:

  • Families must adhere to all school & BeneFAQ deadlines & policies

  • Students must apply for admission & be accepted before financial aid can be awarded

  • Financial aid will not be calculated or granted to those students with outstanding balances of tuition and or fees.

How to Apply:

  • Visit BeneFAQ.com, click on "Parent Login" (to sign-in or create an account)

  • Enter the school's 5-digit code: 29710

In most cases, applicants will be informed by the latter part of May or the first of June if you received financial aid. You can read our full financial aid policy in the Parent Handbook.
